Configure leagues and age groups
Create leagues and configure age groups, officiating systems, pay rates, and minimum requirements.
Configure leagues and age groups
Leagues organize games. Their age groups define the officiating systems and pay rates available when games are created.
Create a league
- Open Leagues under Configuration.
- Choose New League.
- Enter the required League Name. Add Notes and the league representative’s Name, Email, and optional Phone Number if needed.
- Review the information and choose Create League. Choose Cancel to leave without saving.
Configure an existing league
Choose Configure in the league’s row. The configuration page has General, Age Groups, and Users tabs.
In General, update league information and representative details, then choose Save Changes. You can upload or replace a league logo: PNG, JPEG, or WebP, up to 2 MB. Logos are publicly visible and appear on game cards and the leagues page.
Add an age group
- Open the league’s Age Groups tab and choose New Age Group. The league is already selected.
- Enter Age Group Name, such as U15.
- Select the required Official Systems. The form offers one-, two-, three-, and four-official systems.
- Fill in the pay amounts for the positions displayed under each selected system. For example, the two-official system has Referee 1 and Referee 2 amounts.
- Review Requirements: Minimum Level, Minimum Grade, and Minimum Age (as of Dec 31). Grade selection depends on level.
- Choose Create Age Group when the configuration is ready.
Maintain age groups
The age-group table shows the available systems and rates for each group. Choose Edit for an individual age group. Select rows, then use Bulk Edit to update pay rates in the table. Bulk Add is available to create multiple age groups.
Before creating games, confirm that the selected league has the correct age group and officiating setup.
